Mat Day, Director
Having graduated with a BSc (Hons) from the University of Chester in Geography and Natural Hazard Management, I was recruited by Environet UK in 2013 to remove Japanese knotweed and other invasive plants from residential properties and commercial sites. From day one I’ve loved the challenge of the job and I’m now responsible for the Sales and Finance departments at Environet. I also spend a great deal of time working as an Expert Witness in Japanese knotweed, often handling complex misrepresentation, negligence and encroachment cases.
My weekends usually revolve around taking the family away in our campervan for long walks or bike rides in many of our National Parks or AONB.
